Want training designed around your business? Go bespoke

By Adela Halls

We’re all different.

No two individuals, no two agencies – and certainly no two clients – are the same when you really understand them. So when it comes to empowering people to meet challenges specific to their roles and the goals of their organisations, surely no two training courses should be the same either?

At The Industry School, we get this. Which is why, as well as open workshops for the creative comms industry, we offer specialist, bespoke training. Ultra-relevant and laser-focused on the here and now, our bespoke training is already making a big difference for agencies in London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Dublin.

The magic, of course, is in the preparation. We’ll work with you to understand your agency’s strategic aims, its culture and the unique challenges it faces. We’re ex-agency people ourselves so tell us what your clients demand of you and how you want to develop your relationships with them and we’ll work that in, too. Then, together, we can assess where you’re currently at in terms of your people’s skills and where you want to be.

We only start creating course materials when we know the what, the why, the when, the how and, of course, the who about your business. (As for the where, we’re more than happy to come to you – all we need is a suitable space and a power socket or two.)

Setting store by bespoke training

We recently did exactly this for The Marketing Store, the consumer engagement agency with offices in London and Leeds and a global network that extends to Chicago, Hong Kong, Toronto and Paris. We could have written a case study about it but felt the client summed up how we worked together far better than we could:

“The Industry Club’s 1-day project management training was enthusiastically received by our teams. The practical exercises were engaging and informative. It was a great launch pad for the more junior members of our team with little project management experience. For those with more experience, they also gained a broader understanding from Melissa’s extensive agency project delivery practices. ” – TMS Programme Management Team.

If you’d like us to work with you to help your team meet your business’s challenges, call us on 020 7323 1966 or drop us an email to find out more.
