    By supplying your CV to The Industry Club we are receiving personal data from you. We are required to hold and use this data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 and will ensure your data is processed in line with its requirements.

    As you are supplying us your CV in the pursuit of a job we hold your CV for this purpose, which will include work on your behalf to find you the right job. We will hold your information for up to 6 years as we know that our candidates usually change jobs within that timeframe and that gives us the opportunity to advise you when suitable roles become available.

    Our legal basis for this processing is something called Legitimate Interest, which means we believe you would be expecting to hear from us when we have relevant job opportunities to discuss with you. This is always done as a very personal, handpicked service. You always have the chance to request we delete your details.       Embrace Change

      On Friday 24th June, I think it’s safe to say history was made, whether you voted to remain or leave, the country was left in amazement.

      With change there is often a lot of uncertainty but being a freelancer you’re already one step ahead, change is what motivates you and keeps you ahead of the game. I expect many of you have been here before and know how to keep a level head, now is the time to spread the calmness, now is the time to impress, build relationships with peers and clients and embrace the time of innovation and change.

      Clients will be looking for freelancers to reassure and bring an upbeat attitude and freshness to creative departments, I would recommend all freelancers use this time to see how they can add stability to the marketplace and use that as an opportunity to help, thrive and create a name for themselves.
      While the market settles and finds a way forward during this confusing time, freelance opportunities in theory, should increase while agencies decide how to interpret the changes ahead and adjust their businesses accordingly. So get those portfolios ready and get set to ride this wave…
