Marketing Debuts: first cohort apprentice and employer make BAME Apprenticeship Awards finals

We are absolutely delighted to announce that one of our apprentices and her employer from the very first Marketing Debuts cohort reached the finals of the BAME Apprenticeship Awards.
Ayesha Fatima was an Apprentice Finalist in the Media and Marketing category of the awards and came second with a commendation.
Wilderness Agency, where Ayesha works as Social Media and Community Management Apprentice went on to win the SME employer in the same category.
It’s testament to the amazing talent the Marketing Debuts scheme attracted, the quality of the training our apprentices are getting and the forward-thinking approach of the businesses who’ve hired them.
When we launched Marketing Debuts in January 2021, we wanted it to be a shot in the arm for diversity and inclusion in the creative comms industry.
We expected it to show that people from underrepresented backgrounds could break into advertising and marketing.
Naturally, we’ve been following the progress of all our apprentices and we know that Ayesha and Wilderness are both well worthy of their nominations. But still, we’re over the moon for them.
So congratulations Ayesha and Wilderness Agency and here’s the full list of BAME Apprenticeship Awards Finalists.
