Great opportunity for a leading Marketing Agency to join a lovely talented bunch and close- knit finance team.
Nice blend of hands on accounting, managing a small team as well as business partnering on commercials to drive business critical decisions.
You will have the opportunity to tweak current systems and process to make them slick, efficient and user friendly.
• 12 month contract (maternity cover)
• £70K-£75K
• April/ May start date
• Flexible hybrid working- mostly remote (1 day a week in the London office) but the office is open 5 days a week should you wish to go in more often.
*Must have experience working in a marketing, creative, digital, Media, or PR agency etc*
The role:
- Run the day to day finance function, managing a small team
- Ensure management accounts are accurate and present to the FD/MD
- Provide all commentary and variance analysis
- Manage all company cashflow and working capital
- Drive financial process improvements and ensure KPI’s are met
- Monthly finance reporting and forecasting
- Oversee WIP management and AP process
- Business partner with the SLT and client leads, ensuring profitability, resource utilisation, productivity reporting and highlighting areas of risk
- Support the client services teams with billing, scoping and any financial client queries
- Working with the finance team to submit the yearly audit
- Manage payroll and staff costs and freelancer payments
- Manage PAYE, VAT compliance etc
- Train other team members on financial process
- Mentor, train and support your finance team for continues success and progression
The person:
• Fully qualified (ACA,ACCA, CIMA)
• Must have previous experience in an FC role
• Pro active and driven
• Commercially savvy
• Previous experience managing a team
• Experience running an audit
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, sumifs, pivot tables, etc)
• Must be from a marketing, creative, digital, Media, or PR agency etc
